| Description |
This book deals with the final phase of our mass based struggle for indpendence from 1941-1946, which gathered momentum following the out-break of the Second World War, leading upto the country's freedom in August 1947. It was based on active and passive resistance. The method and approach, unlike the earlier phase, were different and the nature of the fight was decisive. In this phase, the Congress stood for complete independence. The motto was "Quit India". The final punch of the fight was Aggressive Civil Disobedience. The revelation of author's personal experience as an active participant in the movement with a deep historical approach and perception provides an abiding patriotic feeling to the readers of our generation.
