Description
Kasturi Ranga Ayangar was the doyen of Indian journalism. During the first quarter of 20th century, he was the editor of ‘The Hindu’ of Madras. Under his stewardship, ‘The Hindu’ fought relentlessly against British imperialism and became the voice of the nation’s freedom struggle. Besides, Ayangar was also actively associated with Congress-led national movement. This biography, published under ‘Builders of Modern India’ series, has been written by V.K. Narasimhan, an eminent journalist. He was associated with a number of national papers, including ‘The Hindu’
