Description
The contribution of Annie Besant (1847-1933) towards the freedom movement is India is well known. Born in London, her life was a saga of struggle. In 1914, she took up the cause of Indians for the Home Rule Movement started by Lokmanya Tilak. She was closely associated with the programmes of the Indian National Congress. This book is a short biography of Annie Besant. The author, Dr. Raj Kumar is an eminent researcher in history.
