The book is Hindi version of famous novel "Pinasio", by the great Italian novelist Karlo Kalodi. it contains the story of a boy made of wood. The carpenter makes him with the intention that he would provide him good education. That boy Pinku does not learn any thing and wastes his time. Then he is in trouble. Finally, he comes out of the trouble with the help of fairy. It conveys a message to the children that if they waste time, there career will be spoiled.
