An international literary and cultural Urdu journal published by the Division.

The April, 2012 issue of Ajkal (Urdu) is a general issue.There are six articles on different topics.There are three parts in the issue. One is Yad e Raftgan in wich two articles are included. In second part there are two articles and one poem on Shaharyar and Mughni Tabassum.Third is special Mazmoon.

Part one: Mirza Yaas Yagana Changezi aur Un Ka Fikri Rawayya by prof. Wahab Ashrafi, Kaleemuddin Ahmad Ka Idols by Syed Najmi Zafar, and Mumtaz Shireen Ka Afsanvi Safar by Dr Hasan Musanna.

In Part Two Yad-e Raftgan: Shaharyar: Ab Isme Azam Koi Laye by Dr. Siraj Ajmali, Mughni Tabassum: Chiraghe Jaan Bujha kar Sogaye by Dr.Khalid Alvi, Byad e Shaharyar by Prof . Rashid Taraz.

Khas Mazmoon: Tarraqui Pasand Tehreek: Mazi aur Nai Rahen by Dr. Arjumand Ara.

Some poems and ghazals are also included in the issue there are two special poems on Taj Mahal, Azmat Nishan Taj Mahal by Dr Shabab Lalit, Taj Mahal Aur Mohabbat by Waseem Haider Hashmi.Twelve ghazals composed by Sultan Akhtar , Abdul Ahad Saaz , Shahid Akhtar, Tafzeel Ahmad, Habeeb Rahat Habab, Zafar Imam,Ziaur Rahman Zia, Imran Raquim, Mateen Achalpuri, Bismillah Adeem, Riazwanur Raza Rizwan and Ashhad Kareem Ulfat.

There are three short stories, “Inteqaam’’ by Abdus Samad, “Manzil Ka Nishan” by Mrs Nashat Aslam and “Laghzish e Adam” by Mrs Renu Bhal.
