Royalty Structure and Copyright

Royalty payment to the authors is made at the rate of 15% of the print price of the book.

The Authors have the option to retain Copyright of the book with them or give it to Publications Division.

In case they chose to give the copyright to Publications Division, they are paid one-time lump-sum advance royalty calculated for 75% copies of the first print-order of the book. The copyright in this case goes to Publications Division and no further royalty is paid to the author.

In case they chose to retain copyright of the book then they are paid advance royalty for 50% copies of the first print order of the book. This advance royalty is adjusted against the sale of books. Once this advance royalty is settled, further royalty is paid at 15% of the price of the books sold thereafter.
