Ans:     Around 200 books and 18 magazines are being printed/produced in a financial year.

 

2.       In how many languages the 18 Monthly Magazines are being printed/produced by the Production Section/DPD

 

Ans:      The details are as follows :

 

(i)      Yojana is being printed/produced in 11 Indian languages namely Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati. Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil & Urdu besides Hindi and English.

 

(ii)      Kurukshetra is being printed/produced in Hindi and English

 

(iii)      Bal Bharti is being printed/produced in Hindi

 

(iv)      Aajkal is being printed in Hindi and Urdu.

 

 

3.       Does the Annual Report of the Ministry of information and Broadcasting printed/produced by the Production Section ?

 

Ans:      Yes, every year the Annual Report of the Ministry of information and Broadcasting is printed/produced in Hindi and English languages.

 

 

4.      Is INDIA year book also being printed/produced by Production Section, Directorate of Publications Division ?

 

Ans:      Yes, India year book is also being printed/produced in Hindi and English languages.

Q. How to subscribe print version of DPD’s journals (Yojana/Kurukshetra/Ajkal/Bal Bharti)?

Ans: You can subscribe DPD’s journals via www.bharatkosh.gov.in  or www.publicationsdivision.nic.in websites or for offline subscription please prepare Demand Draft in favor of ‘ADG, Publications Division’ payable in New Delhi and send the same with complete postal address with mobile number to our address Send your DD/IPO/MO with subscription coupon given below or its photocopy to the following address Editor, Journals Unit, Publications Division, Room No. 779, Soochna Bhawan, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003.

 

Q.  What are the subscription charges for DPD’s Journals?

Ans: Currently, we are accepting only one year subscriptions and the subscription charges for the same are as follows:

Q.  After successful subscription when I will be receive the magazine?

Ans: Every month on dt. 7th the print order for journals is finalized. Hence, if you had taken the subscription on 7th or before 7th the magazine will be delivered from the next month. Ex: If you subscribed the magazine on or before 7th October, 2024 then you will receive the magazine from November-2024 issue onwards.

Q.  Can I change/update my address/contact number/Journal language etc. in mid of subscription period?

Ans: Yes, you can change your address/Journal Language/Contact number in mid of your subscription period by just sending us an email on pdjucir@gmail.com with your older address for verifications and with newer address to update the same. And for change of language of your subscribed journal email us with your subscription details on the given email id. 

Q.  What is the mode of dispatch for journals?

Ans: After successful subscription the magazines will delivered to your address via the Department of Posts.

Q.  In case of non-receipt of journal where to contact?

Ans: If you are getting non-receipt issue of your subscribed journal firstly you have to contact with your nearest post office. After that you can email us on pdjucir@gmail.com or Tel 011 24367453.

What is Royalty?

Royalty refers to the payment an author receives from the sale of their books.  These payments are typically a percentage of the book’s sales revenue.

 

Who is eligible for Royalty through DPD?

The primary author(s) who write the book are eligible for Royalties.

If there are co-authors, royalties are usually split between them according to their agreement.

If the original author passes away, royalties may be transferred to their beneficiaries as per copyright law or the nominee, as the case may be.
